The Positivity Pasta Journey: How It All Began
There are moments in life when an idea feels bigger than a business.
For me, Positivity Pasta started with something much simpler: a love for food, connection, and creating moments that bring people together.
Pasta has always felt personal. It’s comforting. It’s creative. It slows people down long enough to sit together, laugh together, and share stories. Somewhere between mixing flour, shaping dough, and gathering around the table, I realized pasta was becoming more than something I made — it was becoming a way to connect with people.
That’s where the idea for Positivity Pasta was born.
Not just pasta.
A feeling.
A reminder that comfort matters. That small moments matter. That people, much like pasta, come in all different shapes, styles, and personalities — and every one of them brings something unique to the table.
Some people are bold and dependable like rigatoni.
Some twist through life with energy like cavatappi.
Some quietly hold everything together like orecchiette.
That idea eventually became the heart behind “People Are Like Pasta,” a concept that continues to inspire our classes, conversations, products, and future plans.
But the journey itself hasn’t been perfectly polished.
Like many dreams, it started with learning as I went — researching equipment, testing recipes, figuring out flours, building a brand, designing labels, attending markets, teaching classes, and imagining what this could someday become. There have been exciting moments, messy moments, and plenty of “figure it out as you go” moments.
And honestly? That’s part of the beauty of it.
Positivity Pasta was never meant to be just about selling dried pasta.
It’s about creating something meaningful:
A space where people can gather
A place where creativity is welcome
A business rooted in encouragement and community
A reminder that food has the power to connect us
Today, Positivity Pasta continues to grow one step at a time — through handmade pasta, classes, leadership experiences, sourdough experiments, new ideas, and a whole lot of passion.
This blog will be a place where I share that journey:
Behind-the-scenes moments
Recipes and pasta tips
Business growth and lessons learned
Positivity and encouragement
Community stories
“People Are Like Pasta” reflections
And all the twists and turns along the way
Whether you’re here because you love pasta, positivity, creativity, entrepreneurship, or simply cheering on a small business dream — welcome.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Because at the end of the day, Positivity Pasta is about more than food.
It’s about creating comfort you can taste and positivity you can feel.
